This sweet maiden was born during a blustering snowstorm on Thanksgiving 2005. Of course “Thanks” was more than appropriate! Carmelita has been an easy-going, beautiful girl, very similar to her sister Jewel who was recently sold to Spruce Ridge Farms. Another daughter to our Spanish Angel, Carmelita exhibits very, very nice features. She has a long, dense fleece, a nicely defined crimp that is consistent throughout. She took a first place at the Knox Farm Alpaca Show in July 06, and then a 4th at the Empire Show in Syracuse, NY. She will attend Nationals this May, and then she has a breeding date shortly after. We are planning to have her bred to a dynamite black 7X Champion named STF Jetson, a full Peruvian Black Forest son. His lineage includes Royal Fawn and Bueno. Just one more point, notice who Carmelita’s grandsire is? Peruvian Matador, who is the sire to Black Mesquite…another nice pedigree. She is for sale now without the breeding for 15,000. Once confirmed bred her price will go up to 19,500.
