JWA Ebony Lace

This mature girl has had black after black cria, to our knowledge all easy births.  She is the kind of dam that has a cria when you turn your head.  The summer Rip was born I had been in the barn checking her, then returned to the house.  About a half hour later I looked out the window and this tiny black cria was walking around next to her in the pasture!!!  I was so shocked!!  She is a very sweet girl.  We have owned her for three years and she has been a real doll.  Her fiber is average in every way, but she is 12 and always pregnant!!  The good news is That she is in great shape and produces very nice babies. Her little girl she gave us this year is unbelievable!  Pine Peaks Mesquite’s Mirage is full of bundles, and the softest black fleece.  She will be attending her first show at MAPACA, then off to Nationals.  Even though Lacey typically has black, she has been bred to Mercury Rising, so maybe this will be the year she throws a grey.  We will see!
