Victoria Secret is one of our favorite girls- super sweet temperament and excellent producer. She has a beautiful white fleece which has very good density and a tight crimp structure. She has excellent coverage and a very nice handle. Speaking of handle she is one of the easiest to hold and take care of. She is very friendly and gentle. As mentioned she produces some beautiful crias. When bred to color, she produces color. Her births have been unassisted with plenty of milk for her crias. She has always been a very good mom. This year she has been bred to Antonio’s Alianza Salute, a stellar white male who is simply awesome! He has an outstanding show career and quite an impressive ARI. Sired by Mr. Antonio, a son to the Peruvian Hemingway. Dr. Norm Evans has evaluated a skin biopsy of Salute and reported that his S/P ratio, the secondary to primary fibers in the skin, is a remarkable 18:1. In the words of Dr. Evans” this is extreme. The average huacaya is between six and seven to one…” The best we have seen reported on the internet to date was under 14 to one. (Statements from Sixth Day Farm’s Brochure) White fleeces have become extraordinarily difficult to compete against today at the show level. Salute and Victoria have the makings of producing a champion! She is for sale until September 1, 2007 at 16,500.
